Glyn Afon, Bed & Breakfast Guesthouse in Llanberis, Snowdonia.

Dedicated to people wanting a break without children (minimum age is 16), our Welsh Tourist Board 4 Star Bed & Breakfast Guest House, offers a unique opportunity for a quiet, relaxed break, with friendly hospitality.  We are in the centre of the lakeside village of Llanberis, situated within the Snowdonia National Park, at the foot of mount Snowdon; making us an ideal base from which to explore North Wales, The Llyn Peninsular, the Isle of Anglesey and the spectacular scenery of the Snowdonia Mountain Range. Some of our rooms have partial views of Padarn Lake and the Elidir Mountains beyond, a sight to behold as the sun comes up.  We have walker and cyclist friendly accreditation from Visit Wales and we also welcome responsible bikers.

Being centrally located in the village makes us an ideal start point for a number of walks from the door, whether it be a stroll around the village or a 1085mtr. Climb to the summit of Snowdon. The Snowdon Railway, Padarn Lake Railway and Country Park and The National Slate Museum of Wales are all within a 10 minute walk. For our more active guests, there is Scuba Diving in the Vivian Quarry next to the slate museum, walks to suit all fitness levels, cycling and mountain biking routes, mountains to scale and rock walls to climb.
